STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Student representatives provide excellent opportunities for students to apply their learning in decision making that affect them in the school environment. The development of student leadership skills involves opportunities which encourage students to :
a) Act roles in responsibility with integrity & honesty.
b) Work with others to determine and achieve collective goals.
c) Take on responsibilities and use decision making skills in order to
carry a project through to a successful conclusion.
d) Be active, reflective listeners and also respond effectively.
e) Earn the respect of others through their action.
WEEKLY ASSEMBLIES
We conduct weekly Assemblies covering wide range of topics, to develop strong Islamic personalities and community values. This is achieved within a positive environment for the benefit of the individual, the school and the wider community. Positive reinforcement is combined with a firm discipline policy which consists of merits and demerits and a star system in our school.
COMPUTERS
A computer lab for the students to do the practical assignments which promotes better understanding. The hands-on experiences give confidence to equip them with appropriate technical knowledge for their future success and development.
COMPETITIONS
i MAX strengthens its pupil in all spheres. To achieve this various competitions are conducted throughout the academic year like oratorical, essay writing, Quiz (General & Islamic), handwriting, recitation, Islamic songs etc., because we believe that the child must prove its inert talents and academic excellence together both hand in hand.
ART & DRAMA
At the end of each school year, the school performs the Annual Day Celebrations for the parents and the local community. This Annual Day allows the students to gain exposure and seek develop the passion & talent of those students who express an interest to a variety of areas from writing the scripts and constructing the sets to designing the costumes and performing the play. Furthermore, we introduce our students to Islamic art. So as to educate them about our heritage in this field. We also highlight the contributions of Muslims who have made to world art and architecture.
HOUSE SYSTEM
On entry to the school all pupils are assigned to one of the two houses. The House system is a distinctive feature of the school, as it allows children to be part of a group made up of pupils from KG to Std V. Each House is led by a staff House-master and student House-captain. House Sporting Competitions is held once a year. And other House competitions are held every term or at various times during the year.
